DASH Funding Programs
Rural Health Data Ecosystems (RHeDE)
The Rural Health Data Ecosystems (RHeDE) program explored how rural communities share health information at the local level. Awardees consisted of six pairs of organizations, each pair composed of a state or regional health data leader (“champion organization”) and a community-based organization (“community awardee“) located in the same region. RHeDE started and ended in 2025.
Health Justice Community of Practice (HJCoP)
In 2025, the Health Justice Community of Practice (HJCoP) program helped communities use data as part of a strategic case to support the long-term systems change needed to achieve health justice. Three awardees received coaching from TheCaseMade consultancy on how to bridge diverse viewpoints and build collaboration.
Incubator
The Incubator was a funding and support program for established multi-sector or multi-focus local collaborations working to strengthen and advance equitable data-sharing ecosystems. Participating organizations and community members with lived experience co-designed the meaningful work that they implemented, while DASH staff, technical assistance advisors, and peers provided structure and support.

Coming Soon: DASH Knowledge Base
DASH will soon launch a knowledge-sharing platform called the DASH Knowledge Base (DKB).
Our ambition with the DKB is to strengthen institutional memory and elevate community experiences so that organizations engaged in multi-sector data sharing can avoid duplicating efforts and advance their work more efficiently.
The platform will provide a repository of people, organizations, collaboratives, projects, and resources, including white papers, articles, toolkits, and other media related to best practices.
The DKB will offer an increased understanding of relationships and connections between entities, which means it will potentially reveal new opportunities for cooperation and more impactful solutions for communities.
If you’d like to be among the first to join, enter your name and email address below and we’ll notify you when the DKB goes live.
